Our Team

  • Sarah Greenberg, Ph.D.

I don’t use a one-size-fits-all approach - people are unique and deserve personalized care. I have learned to be flexible and creative in my interventions while maintaining a framework that is informed by empirical evidence. My main goal is to figure out what you need and what works for you!

  • Yessenia Ayala, LMFT

Making a therapy appointment is the first big step and I am grateful to work with individuals, couples, and families while on their journey to prioritize their mental health. Together, we can work on finding solutions and learn healthy coping skills to manage any stressors (depression, anxiety, grief, relationship struggles, etc.). I believe it is important to meet you where you are in your journey in order to provide a safe space where you can be yourself and collaboratively, we can take the steps needed to work towards your desired goals.

  • Kyle Barry, LMSW

I’m trained in psychodynamic as well as cognitive/behavioral modalities and adapt, with you, my therapeutic interventions according to where you are in the process toward a better sense of wellbeing. I approach our work from a humanistic, person-centered foundation that helps guide your innate strengths to discover, or re-discover, your authentic self. I’m a relational therapist and believe that the fostering of a trusting alliance between us is essential to the realization of your unique goals of change and growth.

  • Caitlin Bobis, LMSW

Maybe stress, trauma, or parenting issues are weighing heavily on your mind. Know that you don't have to face these struggles alone and I am here to help you. Working with adolescents and young adults, I offer an empathetic, collaborative, and personalized approach to therapy. I approach my clients from a non-judgmental standpoint and aim to make each one feel comfortable and safe, as therapy is often the one space a person has that is truly only for them. My goal is to create an environment where you can feel seen, heard, and understood. Together, we will identify problems, create goals, cultivate understanding, and move towards healing and happiness.

  • Alison Capaldi

I specialize in working with youth presenting with a range of emotional or behavioral difficulties including anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, challenging behaviors, and comorbid issues. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Exposure with Response Prevention. • Eliza Glovin, LMSW

My practice is client centered, anti-oppressive, and trauma informed in order to address the individual strengths and challenges of each client, as well as the systems we engage with that have deep internal impacts. I am passionate about building a warm and safe environment that encourages curiosity, vulnerability, and change.

  • Elizabeth Horsburgh

By demystifying mental health, identifying your values, and tuning into your emotions, we'll empower you to achieve your goals.

  • Carly Johnson, LCSW

I provide compassionate and affirming individual therapy both virtually and in person, in Brooklyn, NY. I take a flexible and collaborative approach, with the belief that you are the expert of you. Understanding yourself through therapy can create space to approach life with more self-acceptance, compassion, and joy. I offer support in connecting you with your inner life, and release what does not align with the truth of who you are. My job is to provide an atmosphere of safety and curiosity to explore vulnerable thoughts and feelings in a way that will transform limiting beliefs, and generate insights that will guide your unique ability to create change

  • Danielle Kelly, MS

I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral disorders, developmental challenges, and autism spectrum disorders. The goal of therapy is not to change who we are, but to help us connect with the person we were meant to be. This involves understanding our past experiences, accepting our feelings, and learning new ways of coping with difficult emotions. My goal is to create a safe, fun environment for my clients to fully express themselves without judgment. In doing so, I help individuals and their families overcome obstacles preventing them from leading more fulfilling lives.

  • Rosheela Khan, MA

As a dedicated marriage and family therapist, I am committed to helping individuals, couples, and families navigate through challenging times and build stronger, healthier relationships. With a compassionate and non-judgmental approach, I provide a safe space for clients to explore their emotions, communicate effectively, and develop coping strategies. • Mimi Lebowitz, LMSW

I am passionate about hearing people’s stories. I believe that understanding your own narrative is the key to having agency and control over your life. Each client’s needs and aspirations are unique and warrant individual attention and respect to reach their goals. I place emphasis on client-therapist relationships and fostering a safe and healing environment, and utilize a trauma-informed and compassionate approach. While I draw from many modalities, my practice is rooted in a combination of psychodynamic, inner-child work, cognitive, mindfulness, and somatic processes for those struggling with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and abuse.

  • Megan Sunayna Mehta, LMSW

My work is built on trauma-informed cultural competency and understanding the many barriers to care specific to minority communities. Although our culture prioritizes physical health, we rarely discuss mental health. This can make it hard to have kindness and compassion for ourselves and/or our partner when we realize we’re struggling mentally or emotionally. I am trained in a range of therapeutic modalities, including Trauma-Focused CBT, DBT, EMDR, Psychodynamic therapy, EFT, and the Gottman method for couples. I tailor unique plans for each individual client or couple in order to empower them to better understand themselves, achieve their goals, and feel more fulfilled.

  • Leah McLaughlin, LMSW

The decision to see a therapist is one of the most profound choices you can make, because it means you have decided to change the course of your emotional life. As humans, we are wired to feel emotions deeply, and sometimes we can be overwhelmed by their power. I want you to know that you are not alone in your struggles. I specialize in a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and life transitions (including career change, midlife, grief, and loss). My therapeutic approach is client-centered and holistic, considering not just the symptoms you're experiencing, but also your unique circumstances and goals. My goal is to help you develop the insights, skills, and coping strategies you need to overcome your challenges and lead a more fulfilling life.

  • Shruthi Nair, MSEd

I believe therapy should be a safe and non-judgmental space where thoughts and emotions are further explored to develop insight and to achieve self-compassion. Through this process, I believe in a collaborative relationship where your values as a person are prioritized in the therapeutic space. I work through the cultural lens in understanding the cultural barriers that minorities may be facing since at times discussing mental health in a family system becomes difficult and can lead your authentic self to become broken. I am passionate about working with adults suffering with depression, anxiety, life transitions, breaking cultural barriers, and eating disorders. I am trained in CBT, DBT, and psychodynamic therapies. We will explore your past, develop insight, challenge unhelpful beliefs, and use evidenced based practices to achieve your goals and foster change.

  • Carly Nisse, LMSW

My joy lies in working closely with children, adolescents, young adults, and their families, offering support through an approach that is warm, client-centered, and trauma-informed. I specialize in helping navigate a variety of emotional and behavioral challenges, such as anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and challenging behaviors, along with any additional issues that may arise. My training in trauma-focused cognitive-behavioral therapy and EMDR basic training has equipped me to understand and address the unique strengths and challenges of each client. With a compassionate approach, I recognize and honor the significance of each person's journey, fostering an environment for positive change and growth.

  • Heather Roland, LMSW

I firmly believe that you are the expert in your own experience, and we will work collaboratively to identify your goals and develop personalized strategies that resonate with your needs and values. I also understand that your needs in the therapy room will likely change over time and I look forward to adapting with you along the way. I will actively listen to your concerns, ask thoughtful questions, and provide guidance and support while encouraging your active participation in the therapeutic process.

  • Christine Tergis, LCSW

My approach is warm, collaborative, and individualized, focusing not merely on treating symptoms, but on supporting you as a whole person deserving of a safe space in which to feel heard and understood. As an integrative therapist, I draw from a variety of different modalities; my work as a trauma-informed yoga instructor and meditation teacher also influences my practice. My goal is to help you develop improved coping strategies that arise from a place of deeper insight and self-trust, so that you can experience meaningful and lasting change

  • Chelsea Thornton, LMSW

I genuinely believe that one cannot reach the heights of their greatness, without first exploring the depths of their suffering. There’s power in exploring the painful, the unknown, and the misunderstood. Whatever you may be feeling in this moment, remember that you are a multifaceted and complex individual, changing with every new experience and emotion each day. As a therapist, I consider my work to be holistic, integrative, trauma-informed, and client-centered. I have experience counseling individuals, couples, and families whom may struggle with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, adverse family dynamics, and turbulent life transitions. I’m quite passionate about analyzing not only “generational curses,” but also generational blessings across the lifespan.
